The Colorado Buffaloes Crew is a collegiate sports club that represents the University of Colorado–Boulder in rowing and competes at a national level. The program was founded in the fall of 1992 by two transfer students from the University of San Diego. Since its founding, the team, in terms of membership and funding, has established itself as one of the largest club sports at the University. The men's and women's programs compete in the American Collegiate Rowing Association (ACRA). Adam Swetlik is the men's head coach and Terence Fitzgerald is the women's coach.
The Colorado crew's boathouse is located on the bank of the Boulder Reservoir in Boulder, Colorado. Due to the Reservoir freezing over in the wintertime, the Buffaloes move their training indoors to on-campus facilities during the winter season.
